When I represent you as the seller, my approach to negotiations is to understand and advocate to obtain your priorities.  I will provide my advice and counsel to you as to what is the strongest offer by discussing both the price and terms clearly with you.  You will have the information needed to make your best decision.

My approach also includes thinking like the other side and understanding their priorities.  I work closely with the buyer’s agent to learn about the buyer’s position and interests.   That information can be very useful in obtaining your goals as a seller, and creating a positive climate for both sides of the transaction.

Emotions can run high during negotiations.  Staying calm is a hallmark of my negotiation strategy.   It helps in keeping open communication with the other side and attending to any feeling you may have as a seller, and the buyer’s feelings to some extent as well.
